LYRICS

COWGIRLS DONıT TAKE BULLSHIT
I am an urban cowgirl with my heart on my sleeve
And I ride around from town to town
I always get there but itıs not that long before I leave.
I got the wind in my pocket got the rain on my shoes
Got a song to sing got gifts to bring
Any kind of weather I could bring some sunshine to you.
Good morning Mrs Howdy are your kids real fine
You look awful sad is your man still bad
Call me over we will hang your sorrows on the line.
You tell me ten years later and heıs just the same
You must be mighty kind or out of your mind
Donıt let him do it you should beat that critter at his game.
Because cowgirls donıt take bullshit
No, a good man wouldnıt even try
If your life is being wrecked you need much more respect
Just get along say goodbye.
Because cowgirls donıt take bullshit
Cowgirls just take their time
Get into cowgirl mode
Get a horse and hit the road
Just get along say good bye.
I am an urban cowgirl as I ride to the moon
With my steel guitar I could shoot a star Infact
I feel so lucky if I had a little wish It would come true.
Good evening Missy
So So is your work going well
Still selling liquor I guess youıre getting quicker
I hope they pay you better cos
That low down bar is doing well.
You tell me Boss Man Meany gave you double time
And you get no break and youıre half awake
Well give yourself a shake you should
Tell that bear to go to hell.
Because cowgirls donıt take bullshit
No, a good man wouldnıt even try
If your life is being wrecked You need much more respect
Just get along say goodbye.
Yeah Cowgirls donıt take bullshit
Cowgirls just take their time
So get into cowgirl mode
Get a horse and hit the road
Let your cowgirl Life explode
Just get along say goodbye.

KEEPINı ON
Keepin on like an old an old steam train
Keepin on through the wind and the rain
Keepin on you can sing that again
Itıs helping me keepin on going.
Keeping warm if it wasnıt for my love
Keepin on Iıd be lonesome sure enough
Keepin on if it wasnıt for my love
Helping me keepin on going.
Keepin strong if it wasnıt for my friends
Keeping strong with me till the end
Keepin on if it wasnıt for my friends
Helping me keepin on going.
Keepin on the left Keepin on the right
Keeping in the middle If it makes me feel alright.
Keepin all the way Keepin every day
Keepin the weather and keepin together
And keepin those blues away.
Keepin on from that deveil in disguise
Keepin on you can see it in their eyes
Keepin on from those low down lies
And itıs helping me keepin on going.
Keepin on down that long hot road
Keepin on when itıs bound to explode
Keepin on in that chill out mode
And itıs helping me keepin on going.

BLUE BANJO
Love was just a number
Blue my middle name
Check the sound of thunder
Hear the pouring rain
Luck was on vacation
Hope was doing time
But miracles still happen
And now Iım feeling fine.
Because I bought myself a new blue banjo
And I taught myself to play
And I play it everyday
Iım going to play away my blues somehow.
Loving you was just like
Driving through a red light
Every time I stopped I got booked
And if I tried to turn around
The sign said U-turns not allowed
And then I realized I must be hooked.

PACKING UP
Packing up bags and thereıs always more
I got bags on the bed, bags on the floor
Boxes in the hallway, four guitars
Iım pack pack pack pack packing up my horse
Packing up diarys, packing up songs
Packing up my rights, packing up my wrongs
Iım going to drive so far itıs going to take me days
If I could pack away the sun I would take that away.
Drive out the city drive through the rain
Drive out the sadness drive out the pain
Iım going to drive so fast drive like an arrow
Drive drive drive drive away the sorrow
Driving out proud driving in style
Driving every tear driving every smile
Iım going to get there soon and I wonıt look back
Got a one way ticket down a one way track.
Just how far must I go To get a little closer to me
You donıt know this lonely road
And I canıt tell you where Iım going.
Checking out the house is this the right place
Checking out the number I canıt see no trace
Checking out the door and itıs open wide
Checking out the chair and the table inside
Iım going to sit me down and write me a song
I donıt know what about but it wonıt take long.
I feel so scared in the dead of the night
Feel so afraid but I will be alright
Feeling things Iıve never felt if I
Feel feel feel Iım going to start to melt
I feel like a mother feel like a child
Feel so stuck and I feel so wild
Feel so old feel so small
Feel so much I feel nothing at all.
It took a thousand roads a river and a sea
Just to get a little closer to me.

TIKABOO
You were kind you were warm
You were everything a good friend could be
But somehow you were torn
Between your own life and loving me
Well I can lose my mind
But I never want to lose a good friend
I get the blues sometimes
When I think of your face.
I wonder what youıre thinking
I wonder what you do
I would be lying if I told you I was fine
This old moon is sinking I got no shining star
And Iıve been crying
Just to see you one more time.
In the morning I will be busy
I got a long week ahead and lots to do
My head is spinning itıs really dizzy
I got a new band thatıs really tikaboo
And I know one day youıre going to hear
My records on the radio
And I then Iıll hear youıll say
Wow I knew youıd go far.
I wonder what youıre thinking
I wonder what you do
I would be lying if I told you I was fine
This old moon is sinking
I got no shining star
And Iıve been crying
Just to see you one more time.
I wonder what youıre thinking and
I wonder what you do
However I hope youıre not blue
I wonder what youıre saying and
I wonder what you feel
However I hope youıre still you.
