A 'Best-of' collection of songs 1991-2000.
Jan's debut 'official' release under licence to Cooking Vinyl records Germany released June 2000.
This album includes four especially recorded new songs:
I KNEW IT WAS YOU/ SWEET INSIDE/ MISS YOU BAD and FAVOURITE PLACE.
Also includes the latest big production version of ON MY RADIO.
This excellent album showcases a good mixture of tracks from classic ballads like 'Pearl in the Wreckage' to uptempo foot tappers like 'Sister-Lover..'

Produced by Alastair Gavin and Jan Allain.
This is a LIVE album of recordings made at Jan & Ilse concerts in Germany and England between 1995 and 1997.Performances include various guest musicians including Deirdre Cartwright on electric guitar, Michelle Dress on drums and Nicki Dupuy on double bass. Jazzy band performances and some beautiful melancholy ballads.

A lighthearted uptempo album featuring Jan & Ilse's 1996 BigBoots Band. This album was released to raise funds for several lesbian projects in Germany.It includes some much loved gay novelty songs: TELEPHONE PRINCESS (Glad to be lesbian) and ALDI. Ilse de Ziah sings the title track.

Recorded at Cranbourne Facilities in Dorset England 1993/4. This is a high quality twelve track studio album featuring eight guest musicians. An all acoustic album recorded on 2" analogue boasting beautiful arrangements and a superb collection of ballads and uptempo songs.

SUNSET IN A BOX (CD/MC) 1991

Produced by Jan Allain.
Jan Allain vocals,acoustic guitars, banjo and harmonicas. Ilse de Ziah cello,fiddle and backing vocals. This album began life as a five song demo tape which was released in 1995 as a 14 track CD.
The original five tracks use synth programmed instrumental backing. All other tracks are acoustic duo recordings. Production is modest but warm and fresh. Recorded on eight track and four track machines this collection of songs includes the earliest versions of some Jan Allain classics:

'The Bootleg Live' (MC, sold out) 1992

Other recordings of Jan Allain songs include the now obselete cassette 'The Bootleg Live' recorded in 1992 which highlights Jan's storytelling skills and novelty songs. Recorded with Ilse de Ziah on cello.
500 copies were released and sold at concerts in Germany in 1992.

'Live and Studio Demo' (MC, sold out) 1988

The earliest release of Jan Allain songs was a demo tape called 'Live and Studio Demo' made in 1988. Also unavailable now. 300 copies were sold at concerts in the U.K. This tape features Sherry Robinson on cello and was recorded by Dave Walters. (Live tracks recorded by Jan Allain.)
